EDT’s SMART EMBEDDED family will revolutionize your developments and your time-to-market. Until now, smart displays only made it possible to create the graphical interface more or less easily, with limitations and too much dependence on the supplier (proprietary chips). In addition, another card always had to be designed for the application and connected to this display.
What is a Smart Embedded TFT display ? It is a standard tactile TFT on the back of which there is an electronic card based on STM32, with flash and RAM . Thus, it incorporates both the GUI and your application.
The creation of the project is based on ST’s free tool, Touch GFX Designer , whose simplicity and flexibility have made its reputation. Once created and simulated on the PC, the project is simply downloaded onto the card. Thanks to the very light RTOS OS , the images appear as soon as the power is turned on.
The standard products offer you all the interfaces: RS232 / RS485 / CAN, GPIO, SPI, I2C and even Ethernet in PoE for certain models .
