EDT introduces a major innovation in the TFT module world where the lack of standardization is an often heard reproach.

With the same 40 pinc FFC (0.5 mm pitch), you can now use 6 different TFT modules with 4 different resolutions !

ET035080DM6 / ET035080DH6 : 3.5″ QVGA (320×240), with and without resistive touch screen

ET043080DM6 / ET043080DH6 : 4.3″ WQVGA (480×272), with and without resistive touch screen

ET050080DM6 / ET050080DH6 : 5″ WVGA (800×480), with and without resistive touch screen

ET057080DM6 / ET057080DH6 : 5.7″ QVGA (320×240), with and without resistive touch screen

ET057090DMU / ET057090DHU : 5.7″ VGA (640×480), with and without resistive touch screen

ET070080DM6 / ET070080DH6 : 7″ WVGA (800×480), with and without resistive touch screen

The connector offers the paralell RGB signals with H/V sync, the 3.3V single power supply, the built-in LED driver control signals and the touch screen connections.

This connector is mounted on a small PCB on the back of the TFT module. The TFT module FPC connects to the PCB where is also the electronic circuitry for the LED driver, VCOM voltages etc…

Advantages :

– A single hardware for 6 different screens just by changing your firmware.

– In case the TFTcontroller IC shall change and force a different FPC pinout, the correct pinout arrangement is rectified on the PCB : no change on your side !

– You can use the standard 40 pin FFC of the length you want instead of being stuck with the built-in FPC length of other products
